All Coaches must complete the Risk Management review.
The Manhasset Soccer Club requires all coaches, coordinators and board members complete a review commonly referred to as "Risk Management". This is done through an agency contracted by Eastern New York Youth Soccer(ENYYSA). ENYYSA is used to develop and educate their coaches and players; to provide insurance coverage for their participants; and for administrative assistance such as Risk Management.
Manhasset Soccer is not involved in the risk management review. Eastern New York Youth Soccer will never share the specific background check information with a league or club even if a coach is denied soccer privileges. Eastern New York Youth Soccer wants to make sure a coach does not have a criminal record of violence or of endangering the welfare of a minor. The principal aim is to provide a reasonable level of safety and security for our players. The information requested on the Volunteer Disclosure Form is personal information. Eastern New York Youth Soccer requires this information to conduct a background check that reasonably assures accuracy and completeness.
Select RISK MANAGEMENT (www.sportssignup.com/lijslrm.start) and you will be directed to the website to register and complete the form. If you are accepted, you will receive an email within a day or two stating that you "have been accepted". This message must be printed out and submitted to the MSC Intramural Director - Nevine Shahine email@example.com.
Eastern New York Youth Soccer will contact you if your background check reports either a criminal record or does not verify your personal information. During the time it takes to communicate with you to obtain the correct information, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCCER ACTIVITIES. Therefore, please CAREFULLY review the information you are submitting.
Please note, there is a $10.00 administration fee charged by ENYYSA to process each background check. This is not a fee from Manhasset Soccer Club.
The Manhasset Soccer Club appreciates your assistance in making our program a great, enjoyable and safe activity for our children!
